Broccoli and Cauliflower Sauté

2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups cauliflower florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
(Adjust to taste) 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for garnish


Heat oil over medium-high heat in a big fry pan. Stirring sporadically, sauté the broccoli, cauliflower, and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the wine, water, salt, and pepper cautiously, then turn down the heat. Cook for two minutes while covered.
