Chocolate Banana Oatmeal

With this kid-friendly nutritious chocolate and banana muesli dish, you can enjoy your fruit and a little luxury, too. In a rush in the morning? Try our muesli version for overnight.


One cup water

One Pinch of salt

1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 small banana, sliced

One tablespoon chocolate-hazelnut spread

One Pinch flaky sea salt


Bring water and a dash of table salt to a boil in a small saucepan. Oats should be added after reducing heat to medium and cooking for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Withdraw from heat, cover, and let to stand for two to three minutes. Add a banana, chocolate spread, and salt flake on top.
