Simply throw a few ingredients in the food processor and pulse to make this garlic hummus recipe—it couldn’t be simpler!


1 (425 gramme) can of chickpeas with no salt added

4 ml of tahini

Extra virgin olive oil, 1/4 cup

Lemon juice, 1/4 cup

one garlic clove

one teaspoon of cumin, ground

1/2 tsp. of chilli powder

Salt, 1/2 teaspoon


Chickpeas should be drained, saving 1/4 cup of the liquid. Add the chickpeas and the liquid you set aside to a food processor. Add the salt, tahini, oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and chilli powder. Puree for two to three minutes, or until extremely smooth.
