Pineapple Green Smoothie

For this smooth Greek yoghurt, spinach, and pineapple smoothie, use ripe bananas. Chia seeds increase nutrition by adding fibre, a little amount of protein, and good omega-3 fats.


2 cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
1 ripe banana
2 cups fresh spinach or kale leaves
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other milk of your choice)
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
Ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)


Place the pineapple chunks, ripe banana, fresh spinach or kale leaves, almond milk, Greek yogurt, and sweetener (if using) in a blender.

If you’d like the smoothie to be colder and more refreshing, add a few ice cubes.

Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and you have a smooth and creamy consistency. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more almond milk or water to thin it out.

Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.

Pour the Pineapple Green Smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
