Vegan Smoothie Bowl

Use a spoon to eat this creamy, thick smoothie bowl! Adding little almond milk to banana and frozen berries creates a delicious vegan breakfast. For topping, we typically use fruit, nuts, and seeds, but feel free to experiment with other ingredients.


One large banana

One cup frozen mixed berries

1/2 cup unsweetened soymilk or other unsweetened non-dairy milk

1/4 cup pineapple chunks

1/2 kiwi, sliced

One tablespoon sliced almonds, toasted if desired

One tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes, toasted if desired

One teaspoon chia seeds


In a blender, combine the banana, berries, and soymilk or almond milk. Until smooth, blend.

Then, add the pineapple, kiwi, almonds, coconut, and chia seeds to the smoothie’s bowl as garnish.
